Troubleshooting Guide

Common Issues

Bot Not Responding

  1. Check if the bot is running
    • Docker: docker ps to verify container status
    • Manual: Check the process is running
  2. Verify your Telegram token is correct
  3. Ensure you're an authorized user in config.ini

Connection Issues

Sonarr/Radarr Connection Failed

  1. Verify host URLs are correct
  2. Check API keys
  3. Ensure Sonarr/Radarr are running
  4. Check network connectivity
  5. Verify port forwarding if using remote access

Common Error Messages

  • "Unauthorized": Check your Telegram user ID in config.ini
  • "Connection refused": Verify host/port settings
  • "API key invalid": Double-check your API keys

Configuration Problems

Config File Issues

  1. Ensure config.ini exists
  2. Check file permissions
  3. Verify syntax is correct
  4. Confirm all required fields are filled

Path Issues

  1. Verify root folders exist
  2. Check folder permissions
  3. Use absolute paths
  4. Ensure correct path format for your OS

Logging

Checking Logs

  • Docker: docker logs addarr
  • Manual: Check the application logs in the Addarr directory

Debug Mode

To enable detailed logging:

  1. Edit config.ini
  2. Set debug = true
  3. Restart Addarr

Common Solutions

Reset Steps

  1. Stop Addarr
  2. Backup config.ini
  3. Delete config.ini
  4. Copy config.ini.example to config.ini
  5. Reconfigure settings
  6. Start Addarr

Cache Issues
