How to install Cytopia

Installing Cytopia on Mac OSX

This guide assumes you have already installed Itch. If you have not please go to https://itch.io/ and install the desktop app

1. In Itch go to explore and enter https://cytopia.itch.io/cytopia in the url bar

Click install at the bottom

2. Leave the Install location as it is pre populated (by all means move it but be aware this guide may not work)

3. Press install

4. Click the Cog icon next to the Launch Button

5. Click manage

6. Click Show in finder

7. Right click on the cytopia icon and choose "Show Package Contents"

8. Copy the contents of the Mac OS Folder (cytopia exec and resources folder)

9. Paste these folders in the “Resources” Folder Important – the resources folder is at the same level as MacOS i.e after copying press the back button in finder to find the Resources folder DO NOT PUT THE files in the resources folder you have just copied (lowercase r)
