### Changed
- **Print risk signals replace the readiness percentage.** The "Print readiness (estimate)" percentage, the star rating and the Studio score are gone. Studio now lists each risk it found, once per condition, with what it means and what to do, and says what it did and did not check. Community guidance attaches only to the conditions it actually fits.

### Fixed
- Object placement judges each placed copy of a repeated object on its own, so a copy that hangs off the plate is no longer hidden by one that does not (#93).
- Placement and plate-fit checks are withheld (reported as not checked) for projects whose physical size the file does not establish: a non-millimetre unit, or a rotated or scaled object.

## [1.6.0] - 2026-10-21

**A job you can pick up again, sizes Studio will not guess, and more projects that prepare.**

Avoid hashing STL rows on every Ready Now scan.

Ready Now sends every library row to _ready_one, including .stl downloads. _ready_analysis_once calls fileid.file_identity(path) before the cache lookup and again after the analysis. For an STL, this hashes the complete file on both calls, even when the result is cached. A placement pass can cause additional calls.

Keep content fingerprinting for 3MF files. A stat-only key would lose the same-size replacement protection. For STL rows, use a cheap existence/readability identity and skip placement assessment. STL traits depend only on the extension and file existence, and plate_placement.assess only opens 3MF projects.

Review comment at @backend/snapstudio_core/fileid.py around lines 40 - 43:
Update file_identity to use a cheap existence/readability identity for STL files
while retaining content fingerprinting for 3MF files; in _ready_analysis_once,
avoid repeated STL hashing around cache lookup and analysis, and skip
plate_placement.assess for STL rows because their traits depend only on
extension and file existence.
