DESCRIPTION

This is a wrapper for the Circuit-Macros LaTEX package. In order to run it you should have zshell running: later versions will be designed in order to be shell-agnostic.

USAGE

Run the install.sh script once from the directory containing make_circuit.sh:

chmod x+ install.sh
$(pwd)/install.sh

Root privileges are not required: if /usr/local/bin is not writable, the command is installed in ~/.local/bin and PATH is updated in ~/.zshenv. After installation, the project directory can be safely deleted.

EXIT CODES

1 Missing prerequisite: m4 or pdflatex not found in PATH. Install the missing tool before running install.sh again.

2 circuit-macros library not found: libcct.m4 could not be located in any standard search path. Verify that circuit-macros is installed, then set M4PATH manually and re-run, or export M4PATH before running.

3 make_circuit.sh not found in the same directory as install.sh. Ensure the distribution is complete before running.

4 Installation failed: make_circuit could not be copied to either /usr/local/bin or ~/.local/bin. Check filesystem permissions.
