Priorities for February 19 Data Jam

  1. Create a master data table that includes the address where a fire occurred and geographical identifiers
    • Add columns to NFIRS data set that include the following geographical identifiers (zipcode, county FIPS, state FIPS, Census tract, Census block, PUMA, congressional district, state legislative district, American Red Cross response area) for each fire recorded in NFIRS.
  2. Count the number of fires per geographical identifier for different windows of time
  3. Add columns to emergency services data set that include the above geographical identifiers for each location
