Summary

• Replace mock hash-based message signatures with actual Ed25519 signing and verification over domain-separated canonical messages.
• Prevent duplicate/conflicting votes per validator per round and count only unique authenticated positive votes.
• Require a strict supermajority, produce a certificate containing individually verifiable votes, and add certificate verification.
• Correct README/docs so they do not claim BLS aggregation or production BFT where the implementation does not provide it.
• Add focused tests for invalid signatures, duplicate votes, threshold validation, and certificate integrity.

Limitations

This remains a single-process development prototype with in-process default keys; it is not a distributed BLS/MPC implementation or production BFT. CI must pass before merge; tests have not been run in this environment.
