🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js >= 18
• npm or yarn
• PostgreSQL or NeonDB account
• Clerk account for authentication
• Vonage API key for video calls

Installation

1. Clone the repo:

git clone https://github.com/<your-username>/doctors-appointment-platform.git
cd doctors-appointment-platform

2. Install dependencies:

npm install
# or
yarn install

3. Setup .env file:

DATABASE_URL=<your_neon_db_url>
CLERK_FRONTEND_API=<your_clerk_frontend_api>
CLERK_API_KEY=<your_clerk_api_key>
VONAGE_API_KEY=<your_vonage_api_key>
VONAGE_API_SECRET=<your_vonage_api_secret>

4. Run Prisma migrations:

npx prisma migrate dev --name init

5. Start the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

6. Open http://localhost:3000 to view the app.
