Full-screen tuner module for VCV Rack 2 and the 4ms MetaModule.
Tuner FS analyses a monophonic audio input with the YIN pitch-detection algorithm and displays the note name, frequency, and cents deviation on a large, color-coded screen (green < 5 cents, yellow < 15 cents, red beyond). The input is passed through unmodified to the output.
| Port | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Audio In | Input | Audio signal to analyze (monophonic) |
| Audio Out | Output | Audio pass-through |
Detection range: ~20 Hz – 4000 Hz, A4 = 440 Hz.
Simulated renders: the panel SVGs from res/ with the display drawn exactly as
TunerFSDisplay::draw() does (same layout, colors and font). Jack graphics are
approximated.
| In tune (A4, 440 Hz) | Far off (E2, −26 cents) | No signal |

Prebuilt packages are in dist/:
| File | Target |
|---|---|
TunerFS-2.0.0-lin-x64.vcvplugin |
VCV Rack 2, Linux x64 |
TunerFS-2.0.0.mmplugin |
4ms MetaModule |
Checksums are in dist/SHA256SUMS.txt.
Copy the .vcvplugin file into your Rack user plugins folder
(~/.local/share/Rack2/plugins-lin-x64/ or ~/.Rack2/plugins/, depending on your
install) and restart Rack. Rack extracts it automatically.
Copy TunerFS-2.0.0.mmplugin onto the SD card or USB drive used by the MetaModule,
then load it from the Plugins menu.
