We are excited to announce the inaugural stable release of DrasticDebug—a powerful Chrome extension for web developers that takes debugging to a whole new level!

What's New

• Global Outlines:
  Every element on the page is automatically outlined for clear visual structure.

• Dynamic Hover Highlight:
  Elements are highlighted with bold, dramatic shadows on hover for immediate visual feedback.

• Element Details on Ctrl Hover:
  Hold down the Ctrl key while hovering to display detailed element information (tag, classes, ID) in a fixed bottom bar.

• Easy Toggle:
  Enable or disable debugging instantly using the Alt+I shortcut or the extension icon's popup UI.

• Clean & Organized Codebase:
  The code is modular and well-documented, making it easier to maintain and contribute to.

• Resolved minor styling issues in the bottom bar display.

How to Get Started

1. Download the ZIP:
   Download the attached drasticdebug.zip from the assets below.

2. Install the Extension:

   • Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
   • Enable Developer Mode (toggle in the top-right).
   • Click Load unpacked and select the folder where you extracted the ZIP.
   • Toggle the extension using Alt+I or the extension icon.

Known Issues

• Minor compatibility quirks on some legacy websites.
• Future updates will add customization options and further performance improvements.
