This repository contains the task i had done on API Security risk analysis peformed on the JSONPlaceholder. The objective was to identify common API security risks such as unauthenticated endpoints, excesssive data exposure and weak authentication controls using safe ethical testing methods. This was done using Postman and browser developer tools by inspecting API requests and headers without doing any unauthorized activities.
