File Memory Model API Enhancements

This PR introduces a plenty of enhancements for the file mem model api:

• Fixed premature return after EOF that happens on the read API and that skips the algorithm without executing the file op postprocessors.
• Unified the File Op processors among read and write operations.
• Anti-failure (fault-tolerance) patterns for file op processors.
