Add Eyevinn Open Source Tools section (channel-engine, docker-fast, web-player, warp-player and more) #18

Description

@alexbj75

Summary

This repo is Eyevinn's most visible community resource (568+ stars) but does not systematically reference Eyevinn's own open source tools. These tools are both practical learning resources and Eyevinn's primary commercial lead generators. Their absence from the relevant sections is a missed educational and commercial opportunity.

Proposed: "Eyevinn Open Source Tools" section

Add a dedicated section (similar to how awesome-video.xyz lists tools) that organizes Eyevinn's OSS repos in pedagogical order. This gives community members hands-on tools to experiment with and increases GitHub star visibility for each repo.

Tools to include (mapped to relevant sections)

Tool Repo Relevant Section
channel-engine https://github.com/Eyevinn/channel-engine FAST / Virtual Channels
docker-fast https://github.com/Eyevinn/docker-fast FAST / Virtual Channels
chaos-stream-proxy https://github.com/Eyevinn/chaos-stream-proxy Video Quality / Testing
web-player https://github.com/Eyevinn/web-player Players / How-To
warp-player https://github.com/Eyevinn/warp-player MoQ / Emerging
whip https://github.com/Eyevinn/whip WHIP/WHEP / Live Ingest
srt-whep https://github.com/Eyevinn/srt-whep SRT / Live Ingest
auto-subtitles https://github.com/Eyevinn/auto-subtitles AI / Subtitling
hls-monitor https://github.com/Eyevinn/hls-monitor QoE / Monitoring
mp4ff https://github.com/Eyevinn/mp4ff Containers / Libraries
intercom-manager https://github.com/Eyevinn/intercom-manager WebRTC / Production Tools

Two approaches to consider

  1. Inline references: Add Eyevinn OSS tools as links within each existing section where they are most relevant
  2. Dedicated section: Create an "Eyevinn Open Source Tools" section at the end of README.md listing all tools in one place

Both approaches can complement each other. Discussion welcome on which fits the repo's style best.

Why this matters

Every time someone visits this repo and discovers a useful Eyevinn tool, that is a potential future customer or collaborator. The tools already exist — they just need to be visible in the right context.
