This is a dashboard plugin for the WordPress backend who shows a simple overview of the latest post and user activities. 

== Description ==

Easy Backend-Summary helps you to keep track of all the important information on your WordPress site. You can create your own individual summary of different post-types and user-roles. Current changes and news are displayed compactly in the time period you have selected 

Easy to set up without programming 
Individual overview for each backend user 
Always keep an eye on changes to different post-types
Recognize bots and spam users immediately
Select the desired time period you want to keep track of 

In contrast to the standard activity widget, the Easy Backend-Summary also shows you new users and changes to posts. You decide what you want to see, how much and over what period of time. Everything in a simple display in the WordPress dashboard as a widget.

== Installation ==

From your WordPress dashboard

1. **Visit** Plugins > Add New
2. **Search** for "Easy Backend-Summary"
3. **Install and Activate** Easy Backend-Summary from your Plugins page
4. **Click** on the dashboard and chose the post-types and user-roles you want to monitor and set the period and the amount.
5. **Start** to monitor your Wordpress Site.
