Public comments and discussions for FTVDB, an independent reference for Amazon device firmware and system component update metadata.
This repository stores the GitHub issues and replies displayed as comments on the website through Utterances. It is the home for reader discussions about articles, devices, and system components.
Comments are available on selected pages, including
- Blog articles for questions and discussion about each article.
- Device firmware histories for observations about a device and its updates. Full and diff firmware views share one discussion.
- System component histories for observations about a component and its versions.
To join a discussion, open the relevant page on FTVDB and scroll to its comments section. Sign in with GitHub and authorize Utterances to post. The first comment creates a corresponding issue in this repository. Later comments appear in the same thread, and you can also reply directly to that existing issue on GitHub.
Threads are associated with page paths. Please start new discussions from the website so they are connected to the correct page. Include the device model, firmware build, or component version when it helps explain an observation.
Comments and GitHub identities are public. Keep replies respectful and relevant, and avoid posting private information. You can edit or delete your comments through GitHub. See the FTVDB privacy policy for details about comments and data handling.
