MacOS support?

Was just referred to this project, and saw that you have both Windows and Linux support, and I would love to help add MacOS support. I have an FXPAK PRO + SNES and a 2020 Mac Mini M1, so I can help test for you!

I would love some help with macOS support. I currently don't support it because I don't have any devices with macOS, so I can't do proper testing.

As for other Everdrives, I would love to add support for them, but currently, reading the console's memory through their USB ports is not supported. The only way to get any information on the game is for the code to support USB communication. This goes for all Everdrives that aren't FX PAK/SD2SNES. Here is a Crowd Control article about it:

Interesting read. But for RA, I don't think there is any need to communicate with the game? For the N8 Pro, it sounds from this, that we can check memory address values, you just need to access them via the FIFO instead of accessing the MCU directly?

I have made a workflow and artifact for macOS, so you can download it and try it (assuming I did everything correctly).

As for the Everdrive, I'll look into it more, but currently, there is only so much I can do as I do not own an NES/Famicom Everdrive yet.

Just getting into super famicom real hardware Cheevos and only have MacOS. Currently, the builds available in artifacts give a broken error. Would definitely be willing to help out if I can, so any guidance you can give me, I'll try my best! (I'm not much of a programmer!)

My builds in artifacts are based on other Qt repos that I have seen. I do not have any Apple devices. I tried to get a VM with MacOS running but it was very limited as Apple's closed ecosystem requires connecting an Apple account to basically do anything.

Even if you aren't much of a programmer looking to into building the project with Qt would allow me to fix the artifacts. If you would like to help this is my workflow for MacOS:

brew install qt
brew update
cmake -S . -B build -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH="$(brew --prefix qt)/lib/cmake/Qt6"
make --build build --config Release
export PATH="/opt/homebrew/Cellar/qt/6*/bin:$PATH"
cd build
cp updater ra2snes.app/Contents/MacOS
macdeployqt6 ra2snes.app -dmg

This should be a decent starting point. You might be able to use Qt Creator on MacOS to build too but this is the command line stuff that I found.
