[failproofai-legion-918] Patch aiohttp in the Python SDK lock to clear the Supply Chain gate - #918
Conversation
…r the Supply Chain gate OSV-Scanner flags aiohttp 3.14.3 in sdk/python/uv.lock (GHSA-2g87-pp6c-29x5, GHSA-494j-54xm-rwp3, GHSA-5wr8-gcqf-gqf3, fixed in 3.14.4), which has failed main's daily scan since 2026-10-20 and the OSV-Scanner check on every open Dependabot PR. aiohttp is transitive (llama-index-core, instructor, kubernetes), so Dependabot's python-dependencies group does not move it. `uv lock --upgrade-package aiohttp` with uv 0.13.1 (keeps revision = 5) takes it to 3.14.5, the newest patch. 3.14.4 and 3.14.5 both require yarl>=1.25.1, so yarl moves 1.24.5 -> 1.25.1; no other package changes. update so it uses the current date, 2026-10-20, rather than 2026-10-16; preserve
the existing version and entry content unless a new dated version heading is
required by the project’s changelog convention.

The section still carried 2026-10-16, the day #904 opened it. CLAUDE.md dates the current version's section with today's date, and the release tooling matches only the version in the heading, so moving the date changes nothing else. Turns the Supply Chain (OSV-Scanner) gate green again. It has been red on
main's daily scan since 2026-10-20 and fails on all 13 open Dependabot PRs (#905–#917). Every one of them reports the same single finding:sdk/python/uv.lockaiohttp3.14.3What changes
sdk/python/uv.lock:aiohttp3.14.3 → 3.14.5, the newest patch. aiohttp is transitive only (viallama-index-core,instructorandkubernetes), which is why chore(deps): bump the python-dependencies group across 1 directory with 4 updates #917, Dependabot'spython-dependenciesgroup for this directory, does not move it. Both 3.14.4 and 3.14.5 requireyarl>=1.25.1, soyarlmoves 1.24.5 → 1.25.1 too. No other package changes. Written withuv lock --upgrade-package aiohttpon uv 0.13.1, so the lock stays atrevision = 5, as in [failproofai-legion-904] Clear the fixable Dependabot alerts: mcp in the SDK lock, sprintf-js in two fixtures #904.CHANGELOG.md: one line under1.0.12-beta.0→ Dependencies. The section's date moves from 2026-10-16 to today, 2026-10-20, as CLAUDE.md asks;scripts/changelog-section.pymatches only the version, so release notes are unaffected.Verified locally
