Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Docker & Docker Compose (recommended)
• OR PHP 8.2+ with Composer

Quick Start with Docker

Copy the .env.example into .env and update the environnement configuration for your project.

APP_NAME=slimTemplate
APP_PORT=8080

Then, start your project:

# Clone the repository
git clone <your-repo-url>
cd Slim-Template

Create a .env file and paste the following environment variables. They are necessary because Docker relies on them.

APP_NAME=slimTemplate
APP_PORT=8080

Then, start your project:

# Start Docker containers
docker-compose up -d

# Install dependencies
docker-compose exec php composer install

# Access the application
# Open http://localhost:8000 in your browser
