What

Two photos of InboxInk on a Kobo, side by side under the README badges: the Instapaper article list, and a cleaned newsletter issue open for reading.

  • docs/images/kobo-library.jpg (900×1161) and docs/images/kobo-reading.jpg (968×1161), about 140 KB each.
  • The README widths (44.3% and 47.7%) make both photos the same height, so the Kobo shows at the same size in each.
  • The image links are absolute raw.githubusercontent.com/.../main/ URLs, the same as the logo, so they also show on PyPI.

Why

Readers can see what they get before they install.

How tested

  • The Worker hostname shown in the article list is painted over with opaque, grain-matched fill (not a blur). The subdomain doesn't appear anywhere in the repo.
  • All EXIF data, including the iPhone's GPS location, is stripped from both JPEGs (0 tags). The original HEICs were never committed.
  • A local copy of the README, rendered with GitHub's markdown styles, was checked in a headless browser. Both images load and display at the same height at 1012px and 390px widths.
