Summary

• Downloads tab: a new switch in Settings › Appearance › Navigation bar adds Downloads to the bar or rail (off by default). When the tab is on, the Library row, the offline snackbar and the Downloads widget open the tab; otherwise Downloads opens as a page, as before.
• Download with Flow: a new share-menu entry (an activity-alias of MainActivity) opens the download sheet for a shared video or Short, filled in with its title and channel.
• Swipe to delete ([Feature]: Add a delete action to the Downloads context menu (long-press) #1415): finished video and song downloads delete with a swipe (M3 SwipeToDismissBox). Every delete of a finished download shows Undo on the app snackbar, and the files are removed once the snackbar closes, the screen closes, or another delete starts.
• Ask before deleting ([Feature]: Add a delete action to the Downloads context menu (long-press) #1415): a switch (on by default) controls the dialog for menu and multi-select deletes. A swipe never asks.
• Storage summary: a switch hides the space-used card at the top of Downloads.
• The v3.0.1 changelog is now marked as a pre-release, dated 27 October.

Risk and compatibility

• Three new preferences: downloads_nav_tab_enabled (default off), downloads_storage_card and downloads_confirm_delete (both default on). Tab id 7 is added to the default tab order.

• A delete held for Undo is committed on an application-scoped coroutine scope (new @ApplicationScope provider), so leaving the screen cannot cancel it.

• LauncherAliasManifestTest now checks only aliases with a LAUNCHER category, so the share alias is not treated as an app icon.

• No Room schema change.

• The change does not introduce secrets, private data, or unexpected telemetry.

• New user-facing text uses Android string resources.

• Dependency and lockfile changes are intentional and limited to this PR.

• Room schema changes include the required version bump and migration, or this PR does not change the Room schema.

• Breaking changes and upgrade steps are clearly documented.
