Report Strategy retry progress correctly

Summary

• treat remote_job_tokens_total/computed as current-job gauges
• use remote_jobs only to detect that a new job started
• show progress for same-length retries instead of permanent 0/0 output

Test plan

• targeted AutoResearch tests: 41 passed
• retry regression uses identical previous/current total and reports current progress

The uncommitted candidate.py file is active runtime state and is excluded.
