This software is made to perform gnomonic projections from equirectangular panorama tiles to original sensor image, with various methods.
The gnoproj software comes with the following dependencies :
-
libgnomonic 0.4.1 <libgnomonic repository> (provided as sub-module)
-
libfastcal 1.3 <libfastcal repository> (provided as sub-module)
To clone the repository, use the command :
git clone https://github.com/FoxelSA/gnoproj.git --recursive
cd gnoproj
To build the binaries using cmake, use the command :
mkdir build; cd build; cmake .. && make all
To build the documentation, in the build folder, type
make doc
And the doc will be generated in a doc/ folder, at the root of the repository (i.e. at the same level that src/ and master CMakeLists.txt)
Now update your bash with the following command. !!! WARNING !!! Please update the following command with the correct path of the listOMVG folder !!!
echo 'export PATH=$PATH:/home/user/gnproj/path/gnoproj/build/' >> /home/user/.bashrc
bash
The general usage of gnoproj is
./gnoproj
[-i|--inputEQRImage]
[-m|--macAddress]
[-o|--outputDirectory]
[-d|--mountPoint]
[-f|--focal] (in mm)
Example : In the build directory, to use Elphel gnomonic projection just type
gnoproj -i image_name -o output_directory -m mac address -d mount point
to obtain Elphel's gnomonic projection of eqr_image (image_basename-RECT-SENSOR.tiff). To obtain gnomonic projection with normalized focal (image_basename-RECT-CONFOC.tiff), type
gnoproj -i image_name -o output_directory -m mac address -d mount point -f focal(in mm)
where focal is the desired focal length in mm. The gnomonic image produced is saved in the directory "output_directory".
For Elphel's projection, with camera folder mount at /data/, and an ouput directory ./sensor/ the syntax is
gnoproj -i 1404374651_319830-10-DECONV-RGB24_EQR.tiff -o sensor/ -m 00-0E-64-DD-EE-FF -d /data/
and it will create the image 1404374651_319830-10-DECONV-RGB24-RECT-SENSOR.tiff in the directory where the EQR image lies. For gnomonic projection with normalized focal and camera folder mount at /data/, the syntax is
gnoproj -i 1404374651_319830-10-DECONV-RGB24_EQR.tiff -o sensor/ -m 00-0E-64-DD-EE-FF -d /data/ -f 4.50
and it will create the image 1404374651_319830-10-DECONV-RGB24-RECT-CONFOC.tiff in the directory sensor.
