I was gonna use this in my medieval modpack but I realized a "flaw" with this mod that made us having to replace it.
We had a couple of features for stuff like the tank classes where you could use special items and abilities based your current and max hp. However, this mod makes it hard to tell even when you are at full health.
In vanilla when you loose health your hearts are replaced by "empty" heart slots so it's easy to track if you are "3 hears below max" or more. But with this mod, anything above a single bar of health looks the same, whether you have lost hp or you are full.
My suggestion is just to add a way to keep track of how far you are from max hp and whether or not you are max hp.
During testing it also happened that some people wouldn't heal to full hp because they didn't even realize they weren't full hp.
