Summary

  • Add Power<TExponent>.Of(quantity) for existing hex, negative, and fraction type encodings, including explicit C# aliases.
  • Generate ordinary quantity result types, with exponent zero returning double, and support nested arithmetic and inferred locals.
  • Reuse TypeSystemNumberCodec through a Roslyn symbol adapter for number decoding.
  • Separate power discovery and emission, and preserve original exponent types while reducing result dimensions.
  • Require the library's runtime types during discovery and report missing or ambiguous references clearly.

English-name parsing and named convenience methods remain separate follow-up work.

Verification

  • Tests written before implementation.
  • All 518 tests pass: 314 core, 203 Roslyn, and 1 packaged-consumer integration test.
  • Build succeeds with no warnings; formatting and diff checks pass.
  • Independent C# production and test reviews are clean, including test ownership and class responsibility checks.
