Computer Science & Systems Engineering Student High-Performance Backend Systems | Distributed Computing | Algorithmic Problem Solving

About Me

I like distributed systems and servers.

  • Current Focus: Advanced Data Structures, Operating Systems, and Distributed Backend Architecture.
  • Experience: SDE Intern at Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI).

Technical Skills

Languages Go, C++, Python, Java, C, JavaScript, SQL

Backend & Frameworks FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, Mongoose, Socket.io

Databases & Caching MongoDB, Redis, Azure, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL

Tools & DevOps Docker, Git, Linux, Celery, Postman, K8s

Libraries & domains OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Tkinter (GUI), Multi-threading

Achievements

  • ** Knight, LeetCode:** 1878; Global top 5%
  • OpenAI Codex Hackathon: Was among the top 120 selected for the event, worked on context decay of LLMs.
  • YC Startup School: Was among the few selected for the event. Pretty good event, learnt a lot of non-technical things.
  • Build Haus: Was among the top 125 selected, worked on MCP, used Rust (was difficult and had to navigate through issues)
  • World Finalist: MIT Global AI Hackathon (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 2025)
  • Winner (Open Track): Code of The Phoenix Hackathon (IIIT Naya Raipur, 2025)
  • Merit Holder: Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (2021)

Featured Projects

Redis AOF Persistence Tech Stack: C, Makefile, Bash

  • Built a shared memory architecture for sys calls in Redis AOF (write() and fsync()).
  • Batch processing of requests in the Submission queue, for appendfsync.
  • Used the submission/completion queue under a shared ring buffer.
  • Achieved an increment in throughput for processing requests and executing system calls by reducing context switch overhead.

Disaster Management Platform Tech Stack: React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Socket.io, Python

  • Built a real-time coordination platform for disaster response teams.
  • Architected the backend to handle live geolocation tracking and instant communication using Socket.io.
  • Optimized database queries to ensure rapid data retrieval during high-traffic simulations.

Car Dashboard Simulator & Physics Engine Tech Stack: Python, Tkinter, Multi-threading

  • Developed a custom physics engine during an internship at ARAI to simulate vehicle dynamics (acceleration, braking, RPM).
  • Designed the system using rigorous OOP patterns and multi-threading to ensure real-time data processing and synchronization.
  • Built a modular GUI to visualize backend logic and handle user inputs with low latency.
