## 🎯 End Goal of This Phase By the end of this 3-hour setup phase, the **entire skeleton of the system runs locally end-to-end with mock data** — meaning: * A fake or test transaction can be sent from **Knot mock → Flask backend** * The backend can **classify it (mock Dedalus)** and **store it (in-memory or DB stub)** * The **frontend** can fetch and display that transaction for a signed-in **Clerk user** No iMessage, no real Dedalus, no prediction yet. Just a working full loop with **mock inputs, real endpoints, and connected layers**. If you can click a “Simulate Transaction” button on the frontend and instantly see the new purchase appear in the list — that’s success for this phase. That’s the **foundation for all integration work tomorrow** (Dedalus MCP, Photon, and predictions). ## ✅ Definition of Done for This Phase * `/simulate/transaction` works and calls through the full stack. * Transaction is stored (mock or DB) and visible via `/api/feed`. * Frontend displays that feed for the signed-in user. * Quang’s Knot mock payload structure matches backend input spec. * Dedalus classification still mocked but schema frozen and documented. Once this is all done, **the system skeleton is alive.** Next phase tomorrow morning will replace mocks (Dedalus MCP + Photon) and add prediction + real-time nudge logic.
