Remove unnecessary npm dependencies (pino, stream-chain, needle, is-number, ulidx) #796

Several dependencies are used minimally and can be eliminated:

• pino — replace with fs.appendFileSync for log writes
• stream-chain — assess if used; remove if replaceable
• needle — replace with native fetch
• is-number — trivial, inline
• ulidx — switch to native UUIDs

Removing these reduces install footprint and supply-chain surface area.
