What changed

  • adds a complete 14 to 16 minute English YouTube script with spoken narration and screen directions
  • frames the project around the layoff, impostor syndrome, scope creep, technical challenges, lessons, and job-search pitch
  • includes recording setup, title and thumbnail options, description, chapters, editing notes, and a repository fact-check map
  • links the production script from the README

Why

Reason was created as the foundation for a YouTube story, but the current repository no longer contained a recording-ready narrative. The original challenge.md also disappeared from the working tree when mobile was added, so the script reconstructs its original scope from Git history and contrasts it with what shipped.

Impact

This is documentation-only. It gives Israel a complete recording plan grounded in the implemented code and Git history, while clearly separating shipped behavior from current limitations.

Validation

  • make test
    • 148 Rust library tests passed
    • 2 worker tests passed
    • 386 frontend tests passed
    • core and mobile TypeScript checks passed
    • 8 Electron security tests passed
  • all referenced repository files and commits were checked
  • spoken script measured at 2,183 words, approximately 15 minutes with demo pauses
  • git diff --check passed

Closing because the video script should remain local and uncommitted.
