I am Yuqing (Jacky) Jiang, an undergraduate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Computer Science + Statistics (B.S. '27). My interests sit at the intersection of data, AI, and machine learning — from analytics and ML models to LLMs and agentic systems.

- Steer2Adapt: Dynamically Composing Steering Vectors for Efficient LLM Adaptation — co-author, advised by Prof. Jiaxuan You (UIUC). A framework for efficient, inference-time LLM adaptation that dynamically composes semantic steering vectors via Bayesian optimization, achieving consistent gains across tasks and models without any fine-tuning. Accepted at the ICLR 2026 Re-Align Workshop; under review at NeurIPS 2026 (arXiv:2602.07276).
- ScribeAR — with Prof. Lawrence Angrave (UIUC), ongoing. Building an open-source, web-based AI real-time captioning platform that helps people who are deaf or hard of hearing fully participate in lectures, conversations, and events. It pairs automatic speech recognition (Whisper, Azure) with deep-learning diarization and semantic analysis, streaming live captions across laptops, phones, and AR headsets.
I'm always open to new opportunities and collaborations.
