How to deploy multiple versions of the documentation?

I was wondering how to deploy multiple versions of the documentation with Github Actions and Github Pages, like described here. I couldn't find any documentation on it.

Also, if it is possible, can I specify to only build docs for every semver git tag?

For building only on certain tags (such as semantic version tags), you can try to add a condition to your GitHub workflow, for example:

  push:
    tags:
      - 'v*.*.*'
