Overview
This PR cleans up the project badges by removing the broken Codacy integration and adding a standard MIT license badge.

Note
CodeQL was briefly considered but removed because it does not natively support Shell scripts. Our existing ShellCheck integration in the CI workflow remains the primary tool for code quality and security.
