Blocked upstream rather than by anything in this repository, and there is no version of the bump that passes today.

TypeScript 7 itself is fine here: bun run typecheck is clean and all 293 tests pass. bun run build is what fails, with TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'useCaseSensitiveFileNames') thrown from inside rollup-plugin-dts@6.1.1, which tsup bundles and which is compiled against TypeScript 5.7.3 internals.

There is no bump to take: tsup@8.5.1 is both what is installed and the latest published version. The declaration step is the whole blocker, and declarations are what the attw --pack . gate in CI exists to protect, so it cannot simply be dropped.

That leaves two real options, neither of them a dependency update: generate the .d.ts and .d.cts files with tsc instead of through tsup, or wait for tsup to ship a rollup-plugin-dts built against TypeScript 7.

Suggest closing this until one of those happens. Reopening it as a project task rather than a Dependabot PR would describe the work better.
