LICENSE.md carries the MIT text and the README states MIT, but package.json still declared ISC, so npm published metadata advertising the wrong license.

Kaylee has maintained the project since February 2026. Hayden Bleasel's notice stays: he authored the project from 2023 and much of that code is still here, and MIT requires the notice be retained in copies.
