Give new Astro and Vite repositories one cf package for built assets. Preserve preview URLs and route behavior without a second Wrangler deployment target. Pin patched transitive dependencies for the current toolchain. Co-authored-by: Codex <noreply@openai.com>
Make generated Astro and Vite repositories build their app before the Cloudflare dry run, and test that dependency in the template task graph. Update release guidance and select patched transitive packages. Co-authored-by: Codex <noreply@openai.com>

TL;DR
New Astro and Vite repositories deploy one Cloudflare Worker through
cf, with a required build and deploy dry run in their normal check.Overview of Changes
Each web template has a separate
apps/deploypackage with typed Cloudflare configuration and a Wrangler build adapter. This keeps the existing static output and prevents a second Worker deployment target. The generated repository check builds the app before runningcf deploy --dry-run; a task-graph test protects that order. The setup guides and reference table now match the generated commands. The shared packages and template pins advance to 0.6.1. Narrow transitive pins select patched
brace-expansion,fast-uri, andundicireleases.Verification:
pnpm checkpassed with 273 CLI and 79 web-platform tests. The pre-push check passed again.pnpm audit --audit-level=highfound no high-severity findings. Earlier isolated Astro and Vite builds withcf deploy --dry-runread 7 and 5 asset files respectively. No Worker was uploaded.Follow-ups
Publish the 0.6.1 tooling release after maintainer approval so newly generated repositories receive this default.
