The maintainers have stated that plain-bitassets is moving from "all rights reserved" to the MIT License. This commit records that change in the repository so downstream projects can rely on it: - LICENSE.txt: replace the all-rights-reserved notice with the standard MIT License text; the existing Unicode Data Files notice is retained as a separate NOTICE paragraph. - Cargo.toml (workspace): license-file = "LICENSE.txt" -> license = "MIT". - Member crates: license-file.workspace -> license.workspace. On 6 September 2026 Bjørn Olav mentioned that plain-bitassets is changing from "all rights reserved" to the MIT
License. This PR makes that change in git so that downstream projects can rely on it:
LICENSE.txtis replaced with the standard MIT License text. The existing Unicode Data Files notice is kept as aseparate paragraph.
Cargo.tomlnow declareslicense = "MIT"(instead oflicense-file = "LICENSE.txt"), and themember crates inherit it via
license.workspace = true.There are no code changes.
Only the maintainers can relicense the project, so please adjust the copyright line (holder name and years) as you
