CS-360

This app was designed to help users easily manage and track inventory items in a simple, organized way. The main goal was to create something practical that solves a real problem, keeping track of items without relying on paper notes or messy spreadsheets. To support that, I built core screens like the inventory list view and an add/edit item screen, making sure navigation was straightforward and the layout was clean and easy to understand. I focused heavily on keeping the UI uncluttered, labeling everything clearly, and giving users feedback when inputs were missing or incorrect. The overall design worked well because it reduced confusion and made it easy to complete tasks quickly.

When it came to development, I took a structured, step-by-step approach instead of trying to build everything at once. I implemented one feature at a time, tested it, and then moved forward. I made sure database functionality was solid early on so data would function properly, and I continuously tested things like input validation, navigation flow, and edge cases. This process helped me catch issues early, especially around data refreshing and lifecycle behavior, and forced me to think more strategically about how everything connects. I’m particularly proud of how the persistent data storage integrates smoothly with the UI, because it shows both technical understanding and user-focused thinking.
