pip-audit (the release `validate` gate) flagged 6 advisories in runtime deps that were disclosed since v1.4.1, failing the v1.5.0 release: cryptography 48.0.0 GHSA-537c-gmf6-5ccf python-multipart 0.0.29 CVE-2026-53538/53539/53540 starlette 1.1.0 CVE-2026-54282/54283 Lockfile-only upgrade (pyproject floors already permit these): cryptography 48.0.0 -> 49.0.0 python-multipart 0.0.29 -> 0.0.32 starlette 1.1.0 -> 1.3.1 pip-audit now reports no known vulnerabilities; full backend suite (759 tests) green against pgvector:pg16. FastAPI pin unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

What
Lockfile-only dependency bumps to clear the
pip-auditadvisories that failed the v1.5.0 releasevalidategate (see release run 27713956764). These CVEs were disclosed since v1.4.1 and are unrelated to any code change — they block any release tagged today.How
uv lock --upgrade-packagefor the three.pyproject.tomlfloors already permitted these versions, so no manifest change. FastAPI pin unchanged — starlette 1.3.1 resolves within it.Verification
pip-audit(same invocation as the release gate): no known vulnerabilities.pgvector/pgvector:pg16.Follow-up
Once merged, the v1.5.0 release needs re-running (the tag exists but its release failed on the audit gate). I'll re-point/re-tag after merge.
