Initialisation of counter points

Many other SCADA protocols allow counters to be initialised to a known value at the device to re-synch with the master (SA).

The existing Lucid Control method appears to provide the functionality required to do this.
But v3.0 of the protocol specification says that controls are not applicable to counters:

Is it intentional for Lucid not to allow counters to be set by the SA?

Hi,
We are going to assume that counters should support controls and that this is simply a small omission in the documentation.
if this is an incorrect assumption please let us know.

During meeting of 15/06/2026 it was agreed that counters would be added to the controls section to allow initialisation of counter values. This will require a documentation change.
