What happened?
I wanted to install a second reForge to test extensions without risking bricking my working installation. It doesn't work, as Stability-AI/stablediffusion.git/ 404s. I had to provide Git credentials, too.

Probably related to the deprecation of SD2 Stability-AI/generative-models@e8cd657

Unfortunately this isn't something we can easily fix, it'd be on the package authors to remove the dependency on the now-missing git repo. Could try commenting out this line that tries to download it, but that may just move the errors further downstream - https://github.com/Panchovix/stable-diffusion-webui-reForge/blob/04e038b4dff5d271a58fa848a1e943b417afc459/modules/launch_utils.py#L464

Oh shoot, should've reported it there. I somehow thought it had something to do with how StabilityMatrix installs the package -sorry. Feel free to close this issue.

No worries, that URL is 404ing for me and a few others I've asked, so doesn't seem to be an access issue or anything, it's just not there anymore 😅

Looks like a fix has been pushed: Panchovix/stable-diffusion-webui-reForge@4958a93
