servicedeskkitv4 is a starter kit to build service desk and helpdesk applications. It is built on Laravel 12.x and Filament 4.x. This means it uses well-known tools to help organize and handle customer support tickets, tasks, and requests in an easy-to-manage way.
This kit provides a ready-made system you can use or customize to manage service issues. It helps your team keep track of requests and solve problems faster. Although it was made by developers, you do not need to program to get started.
Before installing, make sure your Windows computer meets these basic requirements:
- Windows 10 or newer (64-bit recommended)
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- Minimum 10 GB hard drive space (for application and data)
- Internet connection to download files and updates
- PHP 8.1 or later installed
- Composer (a package manager for PHP)
- A web server such as Apache or Nginx (can be installed via software like XAMPP or WAMP)
- MySQL or MariaDB database installed (usually bundled in XAMPP/WAMP)
If you do not have PHP, Composer, or a web server, there are free packages like XAMPP or WAMP you can install. These packages make it easier to run web applications like servicedeskkitv4 on Windows.
