Upgrade Issue

Got same error twice and could not complete upgrade , plus there is no resume option from last point and every time it starts download from zero again

sudo ./massos-upgrade

Thanks for pointing this out.

From my testing, the newest MassOS 2022.05 release seems to download fine with this. Also, it looks like you are using an older version of the upgrade utility, as the links have been updated in the latest commits (MassOS-Linux/MassOS as opposed to TheSonicMaster/MassOS (the latter should still be a redirect though)). Try retrieving the utility again to update it and try again.

If it still fails, I recommend trying the Live CD upgrade method, which is known to be faster and more robust.

This upgrade utility may become discontinued soon. It is far slower than the Live CD upgrade method, and can sometimes fail when there are core upgrades like Glibc, and as you rightly pointed out, it has no resume capability. This utility was created before the Live CD for MassOS existed, so that's why it has been kept for now. Contributions will be welcome if someone wants to rewrite it to fix all the issues it has.
