…older (core 0.40.7) Owner, 2026-10-15: "the status line in claude code which shows which folder im working in has become a link i dont want that". Claude Code's status line prints the tab's folder as Github-loftspace/Stutter-Diagnostics; since #221 a shown folder above it (Documents\Claude) resolved that to the folder the shell is in. A folder found from a shown folder that is the shell's own folder, or one above it, is now skipped, as the prompt already is. Caused by #221. Claude Code's status line prints the tab's folder relative to
Documents\Claude(Github-loftspace/Stutter-Diagnostics). Once the tab had shown a full path underDocuments\Claude, a shown folder above it resolved that text to the folder the shell is in, and it lit on every redraw.Fix: a FOLDER found from a shown folder that is the shell's own folder, or one above it, is skipped (
holdsCwd), the same reason the prompt is left alone. Paths found from the shell's own folder, and files, are unchanged.Tests: 2 new unit tests (fail without the fix, pass with it); unit suite 2137 pass. Core 0.40.6 -> 0.40.7, app 0.52.1 -> 0.52.2.
