Izingedo VR is a Unity-based VR project that digitizes the traditional township game of Izingedo. Players interact with virtual stones in a tactile, immersive environment, reflecting the cultural significance and physical sensation of the game.
The project aims to preserve indigenous games and provide an engaging virtual experience that combines cultural storytelling, gameplay, and VR interactivity.

- Download the latest build from this repository:
- Unzip the downloaded folder.
- Open the VR executable for your platform.
- Put on your VR headset.
- Follow in-game instructions to play:
- Throw the mokinto (main stone) into the air.
- Collect up to 5 stones from the play area before the mokinto lands.
- Return 4 stones to score points and leave one out.
- If you fail to catch the mokinto, all stones reset and the round restarts.
- The mokinto is the main stone thrown in the air.
- During airtime, players collect stones from the play area.
- Maximum of 5 stones can be collected per round.
- Scoring:
- Return 4 stones to the pile.
- Leave 1 stone out to earn points.
- If the mokinto falls without being caught, all stones reset and the round restarts.

- The game is optimized for VR interaction, so using a mouse/keyboard will not provide the full experience.
- Large file size: ensure you have enough storage (~1GB recommended for full assets).
