This repository contains the code and the final report related to the group project developed for the "Programmazione di Dispositivi Biomedici Programmabili" course (AY 2024/2025).
The aim of this project was to design and prototype both the firmware and the hardware for an illuminance measurement device. The system used an ATmega328P micro-controller (integrated on a generic Uno R3 board) to process conditioned signals from a SFH203 photodiode and display the results on a 7-segment display.
The final report details the step-by-step hardware and software design process, including the measurement and verification steps performed to ensure correct implementation and functionality.
Microcontroller: ATmega328P (AVR) integrated on a generic Uno R3 board, powered and programmed via laptop
Programming language: Assembly (IDE: Microchip Studio)
Prototyping platform: Circuit implementation on a breadboard, powered by a benchtop power supply
