often when I'm doing an interactive rebase, I need to change the last few commits instead of the first few.
therefore it would be useful to have a flag that puts the cursor at the bottom of the list when git-interactive-rebase-tool is invoked.
other options I've considered:
- a flag that shows the list sorted in reverse order (newest commit at the top), sounds useful, but also confusing. for example pressing
! to open the default editor, would show the commits in the usual order.
- pressing the "end" key every time I start an interactive rebase. that's my current solution, so this would save me a keystroke.
