I bridge the gap between creative storytelling and complex systems engineering. My career spans software engineering at scale, founding and scaling smart home integration startups, and line-producing Oscar-nominated films.

• Principal Engineer - Driver Development @ Control4 (2014 – 2016)
  • Formed part of Control4's driver team after Extra Vegetables was acquired by Control4.
  • Authored hundreds of integration and "experience" drivers to expand Control4’s OS ecosystem.
• Joint CEO & Co-Founder @ Extra Vegetables Ltd (2009 – 2014)
  • Invented a new category in custom installation by developing and licensing per-project add-on integration software (Apple TV, Sonos, Heatmiser, LILIN, CoolAutomation).
  • Released over 140 driver suites across Control4, URC, and Crestron.
  • Strategically acquired by Control4 (NASDAQ: CTRL) in September 2014.
• Co-Owner @ Beyond the Invisible (2003 – 2011)
  • Built the UK's largest Control4 dealership and pioneered European home automation integrations.
  • Awarded Best Home Cinema under £20,000 (CEDIA) & Best South UK Control4 Dealer.

Before returning full-time to software and smart homes, I spent a decade managing film logistics, financing, and line production:

• Leon the Pig Farmer (1992): Associate Producer & Director. Raised funds via EIS public share offering; won the Venice Film Festival FIPRESCI International Critics' Prize.
• Selected Film Credits: Sexy Beast (Oscar Nomination), Before the Rain (Oscar Nomination), This Year’s Love, Clockwork Mice, Stiff Upper Lips.
• Fighting Films Ltd (1989 – 1991): Designed and deployed one of the earliest custom online e-commerce platforms for international judo media distribution.

• The I.T. Supporters (2000 – 2003): Provided core IT infrastructure and system support to local Wimbledon businesses.
• Senior Systems Analyst @ Jaguar Cars (1986 – 1988):
  • Developed real-time vehicle "coast down" test software on Husky Hunter portable computers, preventing a 6-month delay for the facelifted XJS.
  • Created a domain-specific scheduling language enabling plant managers to automate assembly ordering across three major manufacturing sites.
