Artificial General Intelligence Neutralization Guarantor (AGING)
This is an Open Source Project that aims to take matters into our own hands when it comes to the future of humanity. We aim to focus on what humans were meant to do "aging with time", rather than the potentially problematic world the invention of Artificial General Intelligence suggests.
The following projects were the main inspiration for this project. The researched that followed is just an extension to further support the core beliefs.
While the invention of AGI could have many benefits in specific fields, those are greatly out weighted by the negative impacts on humanity. This project aims to prevent this potential future by any means necessary, within the realms of the law, of course. As such the forking, coping, sharing, and distribution of the contents found here are actually encouraged. We aim to stop AGI invention, but also prevent it from becoming fully operational in the potentially inevitable future that it does get invented.
The project will evolve over time and focus on various techniques and methods for achieving its core beliefs. Currently, the approach has the following phases. Future phases may include, but are not limited to, strategies/methods like influence on the governance around AI systems, affecting training data sets, or even building out logical traps for systems to cause them to neutralize.
This first phase will focus on educating and informing the public by providing carefully researched and curated information on the topic of AI. Such that the general public could draw their own conclusions about what the impacts of AI systems are, and decide for themselves the cost vs. reward. This will be done by including and maintaining contents within this repository's research folder.
