Census Bureau has been considering requiring an API key to access certain API metadata. This may include ACS5 variables metadata, which epymorph does use. (Although I'm a little unclear at the moment what is and isn't affected.) We do not currently include an API key when requesting metadata, but it may be safer to go ahead and do so, even if it's not currently required.
Consider including Census API key when requesting metadata, as we currently do for all data requests.
