Overview

This PR adds benchmark results for the Waller Operator (ℬ), a novel O(N log N) attention mechanism, tested on all RULER standard sequence lengths.

Benchmark Results

4,096 tokens 14.276ms O(N log N)
8,192 tokens 14.282ms O(N log N)
16,384 tokens 14.276ms O(N log N)
32,768 tokens 14.239ms O(N log N)
65,536 tokens 14.231ms O(N log N)
131,072 tokens 14.184ms O(N log N)

Key Findings

  • Constant latency (~14ms) maintained across all RULER benchmark lengths from 4K to 131K tokens
  • O(N log N) memory complexity - no performance degradation at any length
  • No exponential scaling observed
  • Consistent performance demonstrates robustness across the full RULER test suite

Reproducibility Note

The Waller Operator is currently patent-pending and not open source. However:

  • The benchmark binary is available for independent verification
  • Full methodology and test parameters are documented in the included files
  • Contact information provided for third-party validation requests
  • Hardware specifications and CUDA version documented
