Question about the loss function in Equation (8) and the definition of T_i in Equation (9) #9

Description

@flotaas

Thank you for sharing your great work!
I have some questions regarding the loss function in Equation (8) and the definition of T_i in Equation (9).

Equation (8): Could you please explain the motivation behind designing this specific loss function?
Equation (9): Does T_i refer to the predicted k trajectories, or does it represent the clustered trajectory results?

I would appreciate it if you could clarify its exact meaning. Looking forward to your response. Thanks!

    Hello,

    For Equation 8, the label y_i used in the loss produces a more balanced distribution than the one-hot distribution used in VAD v2. We also empirically find this loss function to be better. For Equation 9, T_i refers to the i-th trajectory in the clustered trajectory results.

    Thanks!
