This pull request is to submit a few initial changes towards the larger project of working with FileMaker 19 or newer. Much of the current code directly tries to talk to FileMaker Pro 18 Advanced. If that is no longer installed on a user's computer, that code may properly work to talk to FM 19+, but is not tested.
I submitted Issue #2 to point out the larger work to be done, and have made a few small changes as part of this pull request.
